My advise to anyone with physical discomfort would be to go see Niamh – in a few weeks she has worked wonders.
For context, I’ve been suffering for years with sore knees after an injury, to the point that sitting down was uncomfortable (lots of folding legs one way and then another), it was like an almost constant over-stretched sensation around the knee. On top of that, I had to change the way I was sleeping. I became a stomach sleeper as my knees would sink into the mattress and offer some relief…all to the detriment of my neck, but I had little option. I’ve tried numerous other treatments that gave little to no relief.
After approx. 13 years of suffering, I decided to give acupuncture a go and my only regret now is that I didn’t do it sooner!
Niamh is so friendly and helpful and has gone above and beyond, helping me with fatigue issues, digestive issues and more.
It takes a few sessions, but I have finally, after years, started side sleeping again, and last week, after just one session, my upper back and neck is no longer as stiff and achy as it was. I’m not turning my whole upper torso to look around me. It took a few days to feel the difference around the neck, and a few sessions to help my knees, but I’m delighted I’ve stuck with it.
